capital one walmart credit card application status

if it was NEVER used, would it be reported as 'on time payment' to credit bureaus? I mean if that was the case why wouldn't anybody that needed credit just apply for a card & throw it away lol. But for 1.) Wouldn't it have been necessary for me to have had the physical card, & been able to log in in order for the account to be open? And 2.) If somehow it DID just become active after I was approved & no other action taken on my part. Which made me think that it was mailed to my people's house & just got tossed or something.

The rep I was speaking to did tell me the card was active, but had no balance. I have thought for some time that my identity has been stolen but really what my question is: on my credit report, in regards to the CO/Walmart card, it says I've made 7 out of 7 payments on time aka there was no balance to be paid off. So now I have to upload it through an email link that uploads it to a cloud of sorts, where the fraud team will then review it, & once I'm verified, I guess I will be able to log in. Which, when I was on the phone with customer service & he sent the link for me to upload then&there– twice I submitted it & I got an error saying 'previous action can't be completed due to low memory'. I was told I have to send in a picture of my I.D. And because my mobile number has changed, my address isn't the one on the account, etc. Tbh, with what my life has been since they did that to me, & also just convinced I wasn't approved, I never thought about it again.Ī few days ago, I applied for a different card, because my credit score went up & it said my chances of approval were good. Just overnight, with no intervention on my part, all my mail stopped going there. I had asked about several pieces of mail I know was sent there, but was told I had nothing. But any & all mail was going my family's house, who threw away EVERYTHING I OWNED. I may or may not have gotten an email saying I was denied, I don't remember. I ~think I applied for the CO/Walmart card through credit karma, so I wasn't prompted to log in I don't believe. Well, before I say that let me say: BEFORE I applied, I would get emails from Capital One regarding my credit, & I couldn't remember ever having created an account for ANYTHING with CO.
